The reason I created the Rag Quilt Checklist was to help you have the best experience making a rag quilt. You know, when you make any quilt, it’s easy to get the fabrics mixed up, your blocks out of order, sew the wrong fabrics together – well, you get the idea. Lots of opportunities for mistakes.

Rag Quilt Cutting Guide

This handy guide will show you exactly how many cut pieces of fabrics you’ll need (blocks) if you’re using pre-cut fabric and how much yardage you’ll need. Whether you are using fabric-by-the-yard, pre-cut fabric, or fabrics from your stash, you can determine what size rag quilt you want to make and what size blocks, as well as how many blocks.

Then to make sewing your blocks together easier – less confusing. I’ve created a set of labels just for your rag quilt blocks.
