September Sewalong
Sew along with Hooked on Sewing as we sew two beginner-friendly projects: the Cora Book Sleeve and the Pearl Tote Bag. And a bonus third pattern – Patchwork Christmas Stocking!
The sewalong will start on September 15, 2025 and run through October 13th. Although this sewalong was designed with the beginner sewist in mind, anyone can join!
And there will be fun giveaways that you are eligible to participate in each week! You’ll definitely want to see the Grand Prize! It may or may not be a brand new Janome sewing machine!

Is it too late to sign up?
On this page you will find access to all the information and patterns. You’ll have access to them until the sewalong concludes on October 13, 2025. So you can join the sewalong anytime until October 4th!
Do I have to buy the patterns to sew along?
The patterns for the sewalong are absolutely free. When you join, the patterns are sent directly to you via email. You can also select to download the individual patterns above.
How long will I have access to the videos?
You will have unlimited access to the videos. Once each video is published on my YouTube channel, they’ll be there basically forever for you to watch at your convenience.
How do I get a copy of the patterns?
When you sign up for the sewalong, the patterns – or rather links to the patterns – will be sent to you automatically via email.

Premiere Videos
I will release the project videos on the Sunday preceding the project release as a “premiere video” on my YouTube channel. In case you don’t know, a premiere video is simply a video that is published at a specific time with the intention of watching the video together.
So, each Sunday I will release the instructional video for each sewing pattern. Here’s the schedule:

- Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 7:30pm (ET) – Pearl Tote Bag
