I want to repair my mother’s brother’s sewing machine since she loves to sew most of her time in our house here in Arlington Heights, IL. But if her sewing machine won’t be fixed, I think I will buy her a new one. As you said, You don’t want to spend much money on a sewing machine when starting. However, you do want a sewing machine that will not annoy you and may give some opportunity for improvement.
You are so right! Something else to consider is that some of the newer or higher end are my technologically advanced and that can be very intimidating to some users. It’s a balance.
