Isn't she adorable? Believe it or not, but this little bear is about 10 years old. He was a gift from my daughter after she enlisted in the Navy. Since we don't have a baby in to use as a model, I'm using this precious bear.

I have released my easy baby bib pattern. It has a snap closure on the shoulder of the bib. It's also reversible and there are so many options for customizing the bib.

There's also a video tutorial as well as the written tutorial on the Hooked on Sewing blog.

Seriously though. My mother taught me to sew when I was just a little girl. And I have been sewing something ever since. My mom was so kind and patient with me. She made me take my sewing lessons s l o w l y. She wanted to make sure I had success in my sewing journey.

To have success, you have to first learn and master the basics. How do you do that? By doing things over and over again. Take little steps. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. And, just like my mom did for me, I’ll be right here to guide you along the way!

I created a new video for my bowl cozy tutorial. When I created the first video, there was a portion where I showed how to mark the darts that was only partially in the camera frame. Even though you can see what I’m doing (partially) and I give verbal and written instructions to accompany the video, I decided it was best to create a new video that was clearer.
